A prayer for us to pray
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the hope that is stored up for us in the gospel of your grace.
Please fill us today with the knowledge of your will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.
Help us to live in a way that is worthy of you and pleasing to you in every way;
Cause us to bear fruit in every good work and to grow in our knowledge of you.
Strengthen us with all power
so that we may live with endurance and patience,
full of thanks to you for rescuing us from darkness and for bringing us into the kingdom of your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus.
